In a shocking development last night, Lord Patrice Noir’s body was found floating face down in a river in Paris. The corpse appeared to be at least a few days old though mediwizards have been unable to isolate the cause of death as of yet. Authorities say the body could have floated in from anywhere but due to the residue clinging to the clothes, it most likely came from one of the gutters in and around the Downriver area. His family denies that Lord Patrice would ever have just cause to visit such “filth” but his friends note that he was fond of a few pleasure houses scattered on Merlin Square.
No word yet on a perpetrator if there is one though an insider revealed that lord Patrice was unpopular with friends and family alike which is why no one bothered looking for him when he disappeared for a few days. This investigation is ongoing.
